The 'Pipeline' crosses the Shotover river and was built in 1864 to carry sluice water for gold mining. It was renovated recently and a narrow wooden walkway was built atop it. At a height of 102m, even walking across is scary. It took Tracy half an hour and several attempts before she got to the other side.
